Deacon Ryan BurnsRyan and his wife, Lanee, have been married for 19 years. In 1998 Ryan received his BS in Business Administration. After working for 5 years in the mutual fund industry, Ryan switched occupations and became a police officer, where he has served for the past 15 years. Ryan and Lanee have five children: Lauren, Aidan, Tristan, Nathan, and Joshua. Ryan and his family enjoy a myriad of outdoor activities to include bicycling, snowboarding, backpacking, fishing, and hunting.

Favorite verse: Romans 5:1-2: “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.”

Favorite quote: “It is what it is.” (Lou Nelson). This is an often used quote that I find very applicable to the Providence of God.

Favorite book: Endurance, the story of Ernest Shackleton – polar explorer.
